8th Grade Update: February 28, 2017
Posted on 02/28/2017
On Tuesday, February 7th, Putnam Avenue Upper School hosted the IVY Volunteer Experience / Career Mentoring and Leadership Development series. The development series facilitates meaningful career discussions that enable professionals to share their college, career, and life paths along with young students.
At Putnam Ave we believe it is never too early for our students to start thinking about their future career choices. Our eighth graders along with their families had a chance to meet with professionals from various backgrounds. These professionals included but were not limited to lawyers, physician assistants, and CEO’s. Our students were able to listen to these professionals and ask them questions about their professional journeys. This was a great opportunity for our students to learn about careers that interested them and other careers that they may have never thought of. As school community we were honored to host the IVY Volunteer Experience / Career Mentoring and Leadership Development series.
