OSTQ: What Out-of-School Time (OST) activities do you do?

A: I dance at the Community Art Center, I'm part of the Debate Team at school, I do the Teen Media Program, and participate in the Garden Warriors Club at school.

Q: Why do you think participating in after school programs is important?

A: It's important because I get to have fun and it lets me balance my day.

Q: What is the best way for kids to learn about programs available to them?

A: Make flyers, send information home, have stands and tables with activities like there are sometimes at lunch.

Q: What do you do at Garden Warriors?

A: We make food, get to eat food and also do stuff with plants, like using a flower as a paintbrush.

Q: What is one of your favorite things to make with Garden Warriors?

A: One time we made fat free popcorn.

Q: What would you say to a friend to get them
to join Garden Warriors?

A: It's really fun, you learn a lot and you get to make stuff!
