On Tuesday, 2/13/18, a whole school assembly was held to celebrate our successes at the end of quarter 2. We chanted our school’s core values and cheered on students from each grade level who were brave enough to show off their dance skills on stage. In alignment with our core value of Passion, which states that “our passion is for the pursuit of academic excellence through effort,” we also gave out quarter 2 “Academic Excellence” awards in the following categories:

We then gave a shout out to the Putnam Ave. Girls Volleyball Team, who came in 1st place in the Upper School Championship Game. We also celebrated the Putnam Ave. Debate Team, who came in 3rd place in the novice division of a multi-district tournament. We rounded out the assembly by listening to a “surprise” performance from our school band, who played the song “HandClap” by Fitz and the Tantrums.
