Transition to middle school is a big step for a student's road to maturity. The beginning of middle school is both exciting and scary for students, as well as their parents and caregivers. At Putnam Ave., we want to help our rising 5th graders navigate their move to middle school. We have a host of events throughout the year to navigate the aspects of change, such as: logistical, social, and academic. We hope you can join us!

WELCOME TO 6th GRADE!
Putnam Ave. Upper School Admin & 6th Grade Team invites you for an in-person transition event for incoming 6th graders, parents and caregivers to learn all about our school. Over the school year, we have held virtual events, visited the elementary schools, and now, we finally have an opportunity to meet in person!
Date: Thursday, June 16, 2022 from 5:30-7pm
5:30-6pm: Informal meet and greet with teachers, caregivers, admin & refreshments.
6-7pm: Visit core classrooms, learn about Putnam Ave., meet teachers and tour the school.

We invite you to join us for a virtual zoom event, to learn about life in middle school at Putnam Ave., highlighted through the voices and experiences of our Putnam Ave parents, guardians and student ambassadors. This is a family focused evening. Rising 4th and 5th grade students are encouraged to attend.
