From Dr. Phanenca Babio-James

Dear Putnam Ave Community,
My name is Phanenca Babio-James, and I am delighted and honored to be the Head of School at Putnam Ave. As your Head of School, my role is to work collaboratively with the community in the best interest of our students. With your help and support, we can approach the challenges ahead while instilling our core values of passion, pride, ownership, balance, and perseverance.
As we move forward, let us make a promise to ourselves and each other to continue to persevere and set high expectations for ourselves and our students. Parents, teachers, staff, community leaders, and administrators are crucial in supporting and encouraging our students to actively engage in the learning process and become lifelong learners.
Thank you for entrusting us with your children. As the African proverb says, “It takes a village to raise a child.” As that village, let’s continue to move onward and upward.
With gratitude,
Phanenca Babio-James, PhD
