On Friday, January 25th, we had the honor of hosting a learning visit for the Monomoy Regional School District. We were joined by: Bill Burkhead, Principal, Monomoy Regional High School and Massachusetts 2018 Principal of the Year; Marc Smith, Director of Instruction, Curriculum, and Assessment; and, Melissa Maguire, Director of Student Services/Special Education. Visitors were able to engage in three interactive sessions, which highlighted the work that we are doing in the Beyond Access Framework:
- Valuing Impact Over Intentions: Restorative Practices at Putnam Ave.,
- Learner Visibility: Cultural Proficiency, and
- Authentic Relevance: Family Engagement and Student Advisory.
